Exercise Guidelines
Mama’s Pilates™ strongly recommends that you consult with your physician, consultant, obstetrician or midwife before starting any exercise program. You should be in good physical condition and not have any pregnancy or postnatal contraindications before you start exercising. If you are in any doubt you should consult with your physician, consultant, obstetrician or midwife and be familiar with the Guidelines on Exercising in your country. If you have not exercised before you should not exercise until after 13 weeks and have permission to do so. Mama’s Pilates™ is not a licensed medical care provider but gives instruction and advice as an Antenatal Educator and Pilates Instructor. Mama’s Pilates™ has no expertise in diagnosing, examining or treating medical conditions of any kind or in determining the effects of any specific exercise on a medical condition. You should understand that it is your responsibility that when you are participating in any exercise or exercise program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you choose to participate in this exercise or our exercise programs, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities and assume all risk of injury to yourself. Furthermore you agree to release and discharge Mama’s Pilates™ from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown that arise.
